Lieutenant General Nigar Johar, Surgeon General of Pakistan Army, stated on Friday that the completion of the 200 cochlear implant is indeed a great achievement and success, that indicates the dedication and innovativeness of Army Medical Corps to public health.
A special ceremony was held at the Army Medical College Rawalpindi in order to mark the completion of the 200 cochlear implants. Lieutenant General Nigar Johar attended the event as the chief guest.
In 2017, the first successful cochlear implant was carried out. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa directed to further facilitate children born with hearing disabilities.
Lieutenant General Nigar Johar commended all ranks of Army Medical Corps for their constant service and efforts during peace and war.
