On Wednesday evening in New York City, Vogue Club took over The Roxy Hotel for a private screening of V. The highly-anticipated documentary that pays homage to the industry-shaping (and shifting) work of the late Virgil Abloh. And Vogue Club members were amongst some of the first to get to see the moving feature by Mahfuz Sultan and Chloe Wayne Sultan.
Of course, it was only natural for guests to dress to the nines in celebration of the momentous occasion. Some attendees sparkled in shimmery dresses and heels, while others repped their favorite brands with logo-emblazoned sets. Before the play button was pressed and the lights were dimmed in the hotel’s old-school theater, guests joyously mingled in the foyer while sipping on martinis and enjoying canapés.
Once the cocktail hour concluded, the buzzing crowd of Vogue Club members and magazine staffers settled into their cushy theater seats and fixed their eyes on the red curtain-trimmed screen for show time.
