Unlike many other celebrities, Ariana Grande does not have an outrageous number of failed marriages. However, her marriage with Dalton Gomez has just ended after the two former lovebirds legally broke up.

One of the most striking things about their breakup is that they both filed their divorce papers on the same day. According to a report from a celebrity news magazine, TMZ, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez filed for the commencement of their divorce on the 18th of September. Then, the official date of the divorce was two days later, on the 20th.

Fans had already suspected the inevitable divorce of the popular couple due to their marital issues. Despite their efforts to keep it hidden, the couple eventually split.

Why did Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez break up?

TMZ reports that Ariana Grande's divorce proceedings have been quiet, leaving fans to speculate based on social media activity. Laura Wasser, Grande's lawyer, cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the couple's decision to move forward separately.

More details from their filing show that the two couples, despite their disagreements in their marriage, took time to address many things before coming out publicly with the whole divorce thing. This is not like the usual celebrity divorce, which can sometimes get messy with the proceedings.

For instance, the singer was spotted without her wedding ring, which Gomez famously designed, at one point in July this year. The event was a Wimbledon match, which she attended and took some pictures of. There are confirmations that Ariana Grande is now living in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, it is in her new location that she is staying to film The Wicked.

TMZ has the major sources handling Ariana Grande's divorce timeline. According to another report they made, it was apparent that the two were no longer together as early as February 2023. Furthermore, as soon as TMZ broke the news of the two couples not being together again, the singer took to her social media platform to delete many posts and comments that had her former husband together. Many of their wedding pictures and honeymoon pictures got deleted in the process.
