Crypto.com has launched a ChatGPT-based AI user assistant Amy that will help customers get insights on critical information relating to the crypto industry. The launch of the Crypto.com ai bot happened on May 1st, and some of the insights it would be sharing with users include real-time token prices, projects, and historical events.

The use of artificial intelligence in the crypto industry is increasing at an amazing pace. More crypto firms are integrating AI chatbots and other utility bots into their services. Lately, the influence of artificial intelligence has also found its way into the public broadcasting industry. The latest of the crypto firms is Crypto.com, which would be looking to amplify the value of its services by adding a crypto chatbot for major industry insights and news.

The crypto exchange announced on its blog post, stating that it was part of its plan to stay ahead in the crypto industry. The exchange also made it known that the project is still in the pilot stage as they would want to perfect the AI chatbot before making it available to the general public. "Crypto.com, trusted by more than 80 million customers worldwide and the industry leader in regulatory compliance, security and privacy, is furthering its innovation pipeline by introducing its first-ever Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered-initiative, Amy. Crypto.com is initially piloting Amy to gather learnings before expanding this and future AI-powered capabilities more broadly," the crypto exchange announced.

AI Chatbot To Share Insights In Real-time

Crypto.com noted that their new AI chatbot would help share crypto insights with users in real-time. The chatbot is named Amy, and it is expected to serve as a deeply rooted source for all forms of crypto information for the average crypto user. Apart from providing information a user might need in real-time, it can also take a user back in history and share information about what happened in the past. Basically, Amy is using a ChatGPT model where users can enter prompts and then get information relating to what they need to know. In other words, users can enter a prompt that would reveal some of the biggest crypto scams.

"Amy is intended to serve as a crypto expert resource for the average user, anchored in deep learning and data to help capture opportunities in the fast-moving crypto sector. The underlying technology of Amy is based on ChatGPT from OpenAI, but it is being further trained with specific case examples to provide more accurate and relevant results for Crypto.com users," Crypto.com noted.

Crypto.com Set to Make More History

Abhi Bisarya, EVP of Product at Crypto.com, said the company is very excited about its accomplishments, and they will continue to set more milestones in the crypto industry. The crypto exchange intends to launch other projects powered by artificial intelligence.

"As with other businesses and sectors, we see incredible potential and opportunity in the convergence of AI with the crypto industry and our platform specifically. We are excited to be testing this emerging technology through our Amy pilot project. We are bullish on the innovation of AI in crypto, and we look forward to continuing to enhance the utility of Amy and deploy additional AI-powered capabilities," Abhi Bisarya said during the launch of the AI chatbot.
