Trump set the internet on fire after he came back on Twitter in the weirdest way possible. Apparently, Donald Trump has stayed out of the platform for nearly two years after he was given a lifetime on the platform.

The former leaders of the platform cited his role in the past election interference as the reason for the ban. When this happened, Trump sought refuge in another social media platform he created known as Truth Media. However, he made a return to Twitter. This time around, it wasn't named Twitter anymore, but X. He wasn't under ban again. And then it had new owners.

Over the course of two years, significant changes occurred on the platform, including a name change and the lifting of the ban on the former president. These changes were attributed to Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter and his implementation of noticeable reforms.

Many of those banned on the platform, such as Donald Trump and others, were released from the digital jail. In what many called an increase or gateway to hate speech, Elon Musk made a lot of changes to the policies on the platform. Also, there was a rebrand from Twitter. The official name is no longer Twitter. It is simply X.

It's worth noting that this is Trump's first tweet since January 8, 2021. However, it's important to acknowledge that he currently has legal issues, as he turned himself in for arrest on Thursday in Atlanta for 13 felony charges related to election interference in Georgia. Despite this, Trump remains a prominent figure in the political landscape and is expected to be a leading candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

Trump Uses Twitter to Seek Support

Trump 2024 is becoming a reality as the former president took the opportunity surrounding his arrest to the best of his ability. Before any of his mugshots could get any traction from another account, Trump's Twitter account immediately posted.

This image caused a huge stir online and quickly spread across various platforms. It received a lot of attention and continues to do so, with many users interacting with the post. It's on track to become one of the most popular posts on the platform.

At the time of writing, it already has more than 1.1 million likes and over 180k replies. But away from that, the content of the post is quite intriguing. The former president of the United States used his challenges to campaign for Trump 2024. In the caption, a link led to his donation website. The website's content said it was a personal note from the former president.

"Today, at the notoriously violent jail in Fulton County, Georgia, I was ARRESTED despite having committed NO CRIME," it read.

After a series of statements of those fighting him, Trump called on his supporters to donate.

"But today, I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA….. But if you can, please make a contribution to evict Crooked Joe Biden from the White House and SAVE AMERICA during this dark chapter in our nation’s history," he said.
