16-29 January: Australian Open
The sports event that will open the list of major 2023 sporting events is the Australian Open which coincidentally is the first Grand Slam to be held after the retirement of tennis great Roger Federer.

Since the invasion of Ukraine, several tragedies have occurred on both sides, with Ukraine taking the majority of the blows. 6 May: King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort, are Coronated.
The coronation of King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort, will be one of the biggest major world events in 2023. It will be the largest and the most historic, judging from the events leading to the coronation.

The event will kick off on the 9th of May, while the finals will be held on the 13th of the same month. The Russian invasion of Ukraine may be remembered in the event before it kicks off.

The 24th - 27th of April will hold one of the biggest tech conferences of the year. Every interesting year has had some big tech events, and 2023 might not be left out.
