The much-anticipated release of the Apple Vision Pro on February 2nd generated a mix of excitement and criticism, primarily due to its high price tag of $3,500.

As Apple ventured into the world of mixed reality with this AR/VR headset, early users had the chance to explore its capabilities over the past few weeks.

However, some Vision Pro owners have encountered unexpected problems, such as spontaneous cracking.

Many users have been lamenting on social media, dropping their experience and regarding the Vision Pro they bought.

Reports of cracking issues first emerged just days after the Vision Pro launch, which made headlines on social media.

Reddit user Wohinbistdu shared his experience, stating that a crack appeared on his headset despite careful use in just 3 days of the Vision Pro launch.

"To be entirely honest, as long as the tracking is not affected, I don’t really care how the outer glass looks like. But here is the thing. For the last 3 days I have never used my Vision Pro outside of my bed, and whenever I am not using it, I always have the soft outer cover on and the unit has never been dropped or anything like that, and I just noticed the crack last night. I wonder what caused the crack, and whether it’s a manufacturing defect or not." he stated.

This issue has been echoed by several other Vision Pro owners on Reddit, with cracks constantly forming from the top of the hairline to the bottom of the nose bridge.

In addition to the cracking problem, comfort issues have also been a cause for concern among users.

Complaints of headaches, motion sickness, and discomfort due to the weight distribution of the device have been prevalent.

Thus, some users have even reported physical symptoms such as burst blood vessels and redness after using Vision Pro, which is a terrible review of this product.

Reviewers have highlighted various limitations of the Vision Pro, with concerns ranging from motion blur and distortion to color fringing and limited color reproduction.

Despite its advanced features, the Vision Pro struggles to overcome certain inherent limitations, particularly in low-light conditions and with display brightness adjustments.

Moreover, the field of view of the Vision Pro has also been noted as narrower than other VR headsets, leading to a perceived decrease in immersion and visible borders around the displayed image.

Distortions, vignetting, and color fringing around the edges of the lenses further contribute to the user experience challenges Vision Pro owners face.

As the 14-day return window for the Vision Pro draws to a close for early adopters, it is clear that technical issues like cracking and comfort problems are impacting the overall user satisfaction with this high-end AR/VR headset from Apple.

However, Apple may need to address these issues to ensure a seamless and enjoyable user experience with the Vision Pro.
