#3 - Snoop Dogg
Contrary to what you might expect, music star and legendary rapper Snoop Dogg didn't come to drop bars at the Paris Olympics this year.
The artist was enlisted with the NBC team to give regular game reports on the Olympic Primetime show.
But for the opening ceremony, the rapper held the forte as a torchbearer on the streets of Saint-Denis, a northern Paris suburb.

#1 - Celine Dion
Possibly the biggest highlight of the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony as music star and icon Celine Dion graced the event with a heartwarming return to stage - much to the sheer delight of her many fans who cheered on. A gesture well reciprocated by the legend, who was ecstatic and full of joy herself as she performed.
Recall that the “My Heart Will Go On” singer had been on a break since 2022 when she was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome (SPS), causing rigidity in her limbs and torso.
Fans might have considered this a ‘goodbye-for-good’ due to the rarity of the incurable condition, which required a lot of getting used to, but her surprise return to the stage at the Olympics moved many to tears on Friday.
Let the games begin!🏅Sending love and luck to all competitors.
